In an effort to disseminate valuable information to scholars, despite limitations created by COVID-19, the IMPRS-IS Coordination Office is hosting a series of informational Zoom sessions, each focused on a different IMPRS-IS related topic. The second session in this series will provide an overview of the thesis advisory committee (TAC).
All IMPRS-IS scholars are required to have a thesis advisory committee (TAC). A TAC approves the Ph.D. project, reviews the progress of the scholar, and advises her or him on further studies and research.
In our second IMPRS-IS informational Zoom session, taking place on Wednesday, May 27 at 1:00pm CET, the IMPRS-IS coordination office will provide scholars with a complete overview of the TAC. This session will be especially informative for our 2020 generation of scholars. However, all IMPRS-IS scholars are welcome to join. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding your TAC, this meeting will be a good opportunity to discuss these issues in an open forum.
Items we plan to cover in this meeting include:
All scholars have previously been sent a Zoom access link to this session. If you are a current IMPRS-IS scholar still searching for access to this meeting, please email sara.sorce@tuebingen.mpg.de
