Join us for this virtual ceremony, as we congratulate the IMPRS-IS researchers who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis during the past year. The event will showcase all recent Ph.D. graduates affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and feature opening words from institute director Dr. Bernhard Schölkopf.
Members of the IMPRS-IS community and well as the families of our graduates are invited to help us celebrate the success of 21 young researchers who successfully defended their doctoral theses during the past 12 months. All of these researchers are either directly affiliated with the Max Planck Insitute for Intelligent Systems or our indirectly affiliated via one of the institute's Ph.D. schools such as the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems. In total, six world-class universities are awarding doctoral degrees to this year’s batch of graduating students, who are affiliated either directly with MPI-IS or indirectly through our doctoral programs (Cam-Tue, CLS, CMU, and IMPRS-IS).
Opening words: Professor Bernhard Schölkopf, Managing Director of the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems. Presentation of the graduating students: Sarah Danes, Graduate Education Team. Graduating students are invited to remain in the call for a group photo after the official close.
